The Brent Spence Bridge is “an infrastructure emergency.” This according to NBC Nightly News, which visited our region last week to highlight the Brent Spence Bridge for a story on our nation’s infrastructure needs. NBC reports that, “the Brent Spence Bridge carries double the 80,000 vehicles it was designed for in 1963,” adding, “the hope is that big projects like this one will bring not only much needed improvements, but also jobs.”
