CINCINNATI—February 5, 2013— Kay Geiger, president of PNC Bank, Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky will serve as the 2013 chair of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. She will be publicly installed on Feb. 21 at the Chamber’s annual dinner.

The Chamber will recognize outgoing chair Julie Janson, executive vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary of Duke Energy Corporation at the dinner.  Four new Great Living Cincinnatians: Thomas Cody, Ed Rigaud, Richard Rosenthal and Phyllis Weston, also will be honored for their commitment to the community.

“Kay’s unwavering commitment to the financial strength and vitality of this region will serve us well as chair of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber," said Ellen van der Horst, president and CEO of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. “Her insight and collaborative leadership style will help capitalize on the momentum of public, private and social sector job creation in our entire 15-county region.”

Kay is a graduate of Miami University and earned her master’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University. Active in the community, Geiger currently serves on the boards of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC), United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Cincinnati Business Committee, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Foundation, Zoological Society of Cincinnati, Ursuline Academy and serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland's Cincinnati Business Advisory Committee.

The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s annual dinner, presented by PNC, will be held on Feb. 21 at the Duke Energy Center Grand Ballroom. The cost of the annual dinner is $150 for an individual or $1,500 for a table of 10.
