Economic Outlook

The Economic Outlook event addresses tough questions for the economy - Will the United States economy rebound? How will the local job market change? What are the economic implications of the general election?

This event features an overview of both the national and regional economic outlooks by a panel of local economists. Last year’s participants included members of the regional economic advisory committee:

  • Janet Harrah, director of the Center for Economic Analysis at Northern Kentucky University
  • Julie Heath, director of the Economics Center and a professor of economics at the University of Cincinnati
  • LaVaughn Henry, vice president and senior regional officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland
  • Brian Richard, operations vice president of Economics and Sales at Macy’s
  • Dick Stevie, vice president of Forecasting at Integral Analytics

The Cincinnati USA Partnership and The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce have presented a joint economic outlook for the last five years, reflecting the economic interdependence of Ohio and Kentucky.

The 2013 Regional Economic Outlook was sponsored by Humana and presented by Enquirer Media.
