Growing Local Jobs in a Global Economy: The Importance of Foreign Direct Investment and Exports in Cincinnati USA

What:

Duke Energy Ohio and Kentucky, in collaboration with the Cincinnati USA Partnership, the US Department of Commerce (SelectUSA and U.S. Commercial Service) and the European American Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce this upcoming forum for local economic development professionals. 

 

The forum will focus on the importance of international business to the greater Cincinnati economy.  The agenda includes: 

 

- U.S. Department of Commerce's SelectUSA program and keynote speaker, Aaron Brickman, to discuss the efforts by the administration to attract new Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to the U.S.

- OCO Consulting, consultant to the Cincinnati USA Partnership, to identify marketing strategies and FDI opportunities worldwide and discuss international FDI trends.

- Aaron Brickman as keynote speaker will round out the program discussing ways communities can assist their local companies with tools and services to help them enter the international marketplace.

- A panel of international market consultants for the Cincinnati USA, including Ralf Weber, President, m/e brand communication GmbH GWA, will share information about their individual countries, and the opportunities they observe going forward.  

Participants are encouraged to ask questions of our international experts.
