On Friday, March 27, join us to hear from Janet Kavinoky, Executive Director, Transportation and Infrastructure and Vice President, Americans for Transportation Mobility Coalition with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Kavinoky is a nationally recognized expert in transportation policy, funding, and finance. As executive director in the U.S. Chamber’s Congressional and Public Affairs Division, Kavinoky leads all transportation strategy, policy, and lobbying efforts. She has expertise in developing consensus policy positions among diverse stakeholders and lobbying Congress and executive branch agencies on a wide range of legislative and regulatory matters relating to surface, air, and water transportation.
At this lunch program, Ms. Kavinoky will speak to the infrastructure opportunities and challenges facing the tri-state area, and will provide her insights on reauthorizing the federal Highway Trust Fund before it becomes bankrupt in May.
Mark Policinski, Executive Director of OKI, will shed light on how federal transportation policies will affect our region. Mr. Policinski joined the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments as executive director in 2003. Prior to starting with OKI, Mr. Policinski held senior level positions in the price sector including chief executive office of the Brown Publishing Company and vice president of the CoStar Group.
