Small Business Excellence Awards
Now Accepting Nominations
The Chamber's Small Business Excellence Awards have been presented to the region's top small businesses since 1995. The Chamber is NOW accepting nominations for its 2010 Small Business Excellence Awards, to be presented Tuesday, May 25th at the Millennium Hotel in downtown Cincinnati, with keynote speaker Michael Monahan, Executive Director of Life Success Seminars, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities and resources for development of more responsible, reliable, and healthier leadership.
Winners and runners-up will be chosen by a panel of examiners composed of business owners and advisors. Judges will base their choices upon a close examination of critical business success factors as listed in the application.
Companies can apply for consideration in two of the following categories:
- Emerging Business of the Year – must be in business five years or less
- Minority Business of the Year – must be a certified MBE
- Nonprofit of the Year
- 10 Under 10 (10 businesses with fewer than 10 employees)
- Small Business of the Year – 1 to 50 employees
- Small Business of the Year – 51 to 250 employees
- NEW in 2010! Community Involvement Award (requires separate application)
An eligible company must be a Chamber member with less than 250 employees. Applicants are required to fill out the entire application in narrative format as well as include/attach a high-res JPEG (300 dpi) of their CEO and a high-res company logo either JPG (300 dpi) or EPS format.
Completed nomination forms must be returned to the Chamber by March 26, 2010.
