Leadership Action assembles the “go-to” leaders of Cincinnati’s companies. They develop leadership and team skills by selecting an actionable project and working to accomplish a community-changing objective.
Approx. 18 influential action-oriented leaders passionate about making community change
- Develop: Enhance personal leadership, “leading through influence” in a cross-functional team setting
- Connect: Develop long-lasting business and personal relationships
- Engage: Work closely with community organizations to understand & help solve key community issues
Leaders will enhance personal leadership skills in a team setting, diving into important community topics and being challenged by thought leaders.
The Cincinnati Chamber collects Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from community agencies, entrepreneurs, businesses and individuals working on projects focused on key community topics. The top five projects are presented. Each Leadership Action class decides which project(s) it will solve against.
Leaders form long-lasting relationships through monthly sessions and a two-day camp retreat. Each session is designed around a key topic such as social change, creating sustainable projects, voice of the customer, power of storytelling, making the perfect pitch, etc. More info about Leadership Action Project Proposals
Participants also gain access to many of the region's hidden gems. The group will meet in unique locations and participate in tours and activities that support chosen topics.
