Big ideas + people wanted for Leadership Action
The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber is inviting big ideas to create the best in life for our community. As part of its reinvented Leadership Action program, the Cincinnati Chamber is also searching for a diverse group of doers, innovators and makers that possesses the passion to bring those ideas to fruition.
“The Cincinnati Chamber wants not-for-profits, entrepreneurs, business champions and individuals to submit their region-changing ideas by July 31 – and we want them to dream big,” said Amy Thompson, Leadership Programs & Alumni Network leader for the Cincinnati Chamber. An online application and details can be found here.
“Leadership Action Class 4 will choose one of the ‘big-ideas,’ roll up its sleeves and make it happen,” added Thompson. “If you are a decision maker, influencer or action-oriented, hands-on leader, please apply by June 16.”
“Leadership Action has been refreshed and refocused to bring more attention to community awareness and exposure, team building, leadership skills, and most importantly, moving the needle to bring our region’s most impressive and impactful ideas to life,” said Jill P. Meyer, president and CEO of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.
Leadership Action has a tremendous legacy of making change in our region, including collaboration with Cincinnati Public Schools to implement the Business-Education Connectivity Councils. These councils connect high school students with prospective employers, exposing students to the cross section of available jobs available in our region.
Applications for Leadership Action Class 4 (2017-2018) have been extended to Friday, June 16. Community Project Proposals are now being accepted for the September 2017-June 2018 program.
