The Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Chambers carried a unified voice to D.C., last week, meeting with Senators Brown, McConnell, Paul and Portman, Reps. Chabot, Massie, Tiberi and Wenstrup, USDOT Secretary Chao, and the policy team of Vice President Pence. We also held a fun reception for more than 100 people who share interest in the Cincinnati region and were even happier to share the Madtree beer we brought.
Darrin Redus, who leads our Minority Business Accelerator, testified before Congress, telling Chairman Chabot and the House Small Business Committee that, “early returns of accelerators over the past 10 years certainly speak to their overall importance as a significant catalyst to our nation’s economy.”
Back home, please join your Chamber this Saturday and Sunday, noon-9 p.m., to celebrate our region’s Asian cuisines, cultures and communities at Asian Food Fest. The vibrant festival will showcase 30 Asian food vendors, beer and entertainment in Washington Park.
