Great Living Cincinnatians

Celebrate the leadership, vision, tenacity, and love of community shared by the recipients of the Great Living Cincinnatian Award, presented annually by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber since 1967.

The 2023 Class of Great Living Cincinnatians features four individuals who have left an indelible mark on our Region. They are servant leaders, mentors, and friends. The Chamber is honored to recognize Donald P. Klekamp, Janet B. Reid, Ph.D, Larry A. Sheakley and C. Smith as Great Living Cincinnatians. Awards will be presented to recipients at the Cincinnati Regional Chamber's Annual Dinner March 2, 2023.

Leadership, vision, tenacity and love of community are the hallmarks shared by the recipients of the Great Living Cincinnatian Award, presented annually, since 1967, by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber®.

Recipients are selected from candidates by the Chamber’s senior council based on the following criteria:

Community service;
Business and civic attainment on a local, state and national or international level;
Leadership;
Awareness of the needs of others;
Distinctive accomplishments that have brought favorable attention to their community, institution or organization.
