Influence Cincinnati identifies ways that participants can harness the influence they already have – in their jobs, communities, and spheres of influence – to create a future region we all want to call home.
This circle of leaders will meet regularly throughout the year at various locations across greater Cincinnati, where they will have opportunities to hear from, engage with, and have two-way conversations with experts and decision-makers on issues that will shape the Tristate area.
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
- Experienced and emerging leaders across the Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky & Southeastern Indiana region.
- Chamber members of all professional backgrounds who share a passion for moving our region forward, and want to be a part of shaping civic decisions & conversations.
OBJECTIVES
Engage – Join us for topical, interactive conversations with business and community leaders. Develop a deeper understanding of how civic engagement, advocacy, public policy, and politics affect our region and community.
Envision – Determine meaningful ways to immerse yourself in the community based on your business & personal perspectives. The connections made at Influence Cincinnati will take you from soapbox to ballot box. The Cincinnati Chamber team and other IC leaders will connect you.
Impact – Change the conversation within your sphere of influence. Connect with other business and community leaders, elected officials and policy makers. You will leave Influence Cincinnati conversations inspired and equipped to channel your passions into actions.
FOCUS AREAS
Influence Cincinnati conversations will revolve around one or more of the following topics:
Civic Engagement – From your newsfeed to the front page, learn more about the issues that are moving our community forward or holding us back from progress.
Advocacy – Get equipped with the skills and knowledge you need to effectively communicate with and persuade decision-makers.
Public Policy – Understand how policies impact business focus areas of economic development, transportation and inclusion.
Politics – Explore how people are put into positions of power, the processes that shape their decisions and the role institutions play in the civic space.
