The Greater Cincinnati Safety Council started in 2005 and has generated $10,103,183.97 in Workers’ Comp premium rebates to its members through 2019. Active participation in the Greater Cincinnati Safety Council is free for Chamber members and positions employers to capitalize on safety education, networking and resources available to prevent accidents in the workplace and lower workers’ compensation costs.
Thousands of Ohio employers find value and workers’ compensation premiums savings by actively participating in their local safety councils. The Chamber's Greater Cincinnati Safety Council can help your company get valuable safety information and networking through attendance at our monthly meetings.
Due to the COVID Pandemic, all monthly meetings will be virtual via zoom meeting starting August 12. Topics and current meeting link will be available on our calendar page mid July.

Important updates to the BWC Safety Council program for the upcoming fiscal year, that started July 1, 2020.
How do you get started?
In light of the difficult and unusual times, the OBWC will not be offering a rebate for participation nor the performance rebate (for those eligible) to employers who participated in the BWC Safety Council 2019-2020 program.
For the 2020-2021 year, all current participants are automatically enrolled and no enrollment paperwork is required by OBWC
Additionally, attendance will not be required by OBWC for the 2020-2021 year, nor will there be a collection of 2020 semi annual reports conducted.
The Greater Cincinnati Safety Council will remain your source for occupational safety and health and workers’ compensation information and resources.
