Alumni Volunteer Opportunities
There are several volunteer leadership and community engagement opportunities for Alumni Network dues-paying members.
Events Committee: Responsible for creating civic education and leadership development opportunities for the Alumni Network. Typically you work on one event a year or you can sign up to help create two events per year.
Community Engagement Committee: Responsible for creating meaningful community engagement opportunities for the alumni through individual volunteer efforts and expanding the efforts of the projects that emerge from C-Change or community at large.
Membership Committee: Responsible for recruiting alumni to join the Alumni Network and responsible for connecting and engaging alumni with each other and with relevant information.
Communications Committee: Responsible for providing on-going regular communications about alumni, key community issues, current class programs and engagement opportunities. Manage social media, newsletter, help build platforms and means to connect.
Scholarship Committee: Work closely with Chamber team to raise funds and awareness about the importance of scholarships for the programs.
Recruitment Committee: Act as ambassadors to assist with identifying and recruiting candidates for Chamber Leadership Programs. We focus on diversifying the classes. The group meets about 4 times a year and it involves follow up to reach out to specific candidates.
Leadership Cincinnati Steering Committee: Be part of the group that helps design and deliver the program for the next class. (Must be a Leadership Cincinnati Alum)
C-Change Project Mentor: Help guide a small group with their project. This includes meeting with the group a couple of times and being a guide, connector, adviser to the group.
