Leadership CincinnatiUSA® is an immersive civic engagement and development program for established leaders in c-suite or senior executive positions. This is an experience-based program designed to help established leaders gain a deeper understanding of the region’s assets and challenges, while also expanding their networks and realizing their legacy.  


Leadership CincinnatiUSA Participants will: 

  • Discover new ways to strengthen personal leadership performance and efficacy.
  • Elevate personal leadership presence and influence within the region.  
  • Establish long-lasting relationships with peers in similar life stages and ambitions. 
  • Expand their understanding of the region’s current and long-standing successes and challenges. 
  • Identify new ways to make purposeful impact in the region. 
  • Join other inspirational leaders and collaborate on methods to cultivate a more prosperous and thriving community.

Curriculum

Leadership Cincinnati focuses on providing valued content, hands on experiences, and conversations with thought leaders from the Cincinnati community. Each session is designed to help participants gain a better understanding of key community topics and community interconnections and ways to further their engagement through their current roles.  

 A two-day camp retreat kicks off the class, allowing participants to come together and begin long-lasting relationships. The most valuable components of the program are often the relationships and connections formed.  

Possible topics include:  

Arts & Culture, Economic Development, Education, Health & Wellness, Human Services, Inclusion, Justice, Regionalism, Transportation 

Target Participants:

Established Leaders – C-Suite and Senior Executives 

Tuition:

$5,000 for Chamber Members
$6,000 for Non-Members

September 15, Kick-Off & Distinguished Alumni Event (3:30 – 8 p.m.)
*September 23-24, Opening Retreat (Overnight; 9 a.m. Friday – 4 p.m. Saturday)
October 13, Class Session
October 27, Class Session
November 17, Class Session
December 15, Class Session
January 26, Class Session
*Friday, February 17, Inclusion Session (9 a.m. – 9 p.m.)
*Saturday, February 18, Inclusion Retreat (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
March 23, Class Session
April 27, Class Session
May 11-12, Closing Retreat (Overnight; 9 a.m. Thursday – 12 p.m. Friday)
May 25, Graduation (3:30 – 7 p.m.)

Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Those who miss more than two sessions will be asked to withdraw from the program.
*The Opening Retreat and Inclusion Session are mandatory parts of the program.

*Please note, it is not uncommon for people to apply two to three times before being accepted into the program. The selection committee works hard to ensure a diverse cross-section of applicants are selected for the program.

Your application will be considered complete after you:

  • Complete and submit the online application.
  • Submit your headshot via the online application.
  • Submit your non-refundable $50 application fee. After you click submit on your online application, you will be automatically redirected to submit your payment for the application fee.
  • Have your reference submit the reference form on your behalf by the application due date.

Application Fee:

$50 (non-refundable). Applicants will be asked to pay via credit card at the end of the online application process.
