Work-Based Learning

Employer Eligibility

The future of business is dependent on the ability to prepare the next generation of talent. 40 percent of businesses are unable to take on more work because they can’t fill current job openings.

The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, in partnership with our local school districts, is helping our members build their talent pipeline through work-based learning, an effort that pairs hands-on industry experience with classroom learning. This program is designed to create full-time employment opportunities for high school students upon graduation. This results in an alternative to immediately enrolling in higher education and provide a way for students to build funds for future schooling. This also provides critical talent for our members as they innovate in the ever-changing job market.
