We are looking to hire an energetic, professional and engaging part-time Receptionist to warmly welcome and inform the many visitors of 3 East Fourth! The person in this position is the first of many impressions of the Chamber. Someone who is excited about getting to know our visitors’ life stories and possess the ability to boost the confidence of a nervous candidate waiting for a job interview.
You or someone you know in this role will have the opportunity to shine through their use of exceptional time management skills, organization, the ability to work independently, and great verbal communication skills!
This role will require approximately 25 hours per week but will not exceed 30 hours per week.
The ideal 3 East Fourth Receptionist is passionate about customer service and enjoys providing friendly assistance and direction to all visitors. They are a true team player and motivated multitasker who takes initiative. This person takes pride in being the face of the Chamber and the entire 3 East Fourth team!
- Greet and direct guests and visitors of the Chamber and other 3 East Fourth tenants
- Notify and coordinate with those in the building
- Provide administrative and calendar support for room reservations in the building
- Prepare and mail correspondence for the Chamber
- Enter customer data into the Personify, the Chamber’ s database
- Answer and operate main switchboard
- Prepare conference space support
- Direct email inquiries
- Provide back up support for the Chamber’s customer service center

The Receptionist Role does not have supervisory responsibility.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years customer service experience preferred
The position is in a climate-controlled downtown office site and requires a minimal amount of external activity. The job will require talking, listening, researching, and sitting for long periods working at a computer screen. This position does not require travel. Requirements include some evenings and weekends, flexible work week available to accommodate these instances.
