During the month of March, we celebrated International Women’s History Month and kicked off the opening of WE Lead applications for Class 16 by honoring WE Lead alumni and the women in the region who have become incredible leaders and role models.
We started an online conversation with our WE Lead alumni using the #WELeadCincy. They shared their experiences and highlighted the women in their lives who have inspired, encouraged, or empowered them along their leadership journeys. Check out #WELeadCincy (must be logged into LinkedIn) to hear how the program has impacted our alumni and the meaningful relationships they built.
WE Lead is the Leadership Center’s premier leadership development program for advancing professional women looking to take the next step in their career or are on track to assume new leadership roles within their organizations. WE Lead brings together high-achieving, professional women from a variety of backgrounds to learn from one another and creating a strong, supportive network.
Through a combination of professional development and executive coaching, participants learn leadership skills and strategies unique to their personal and professional development.
“Within just the first few weeks of starting WE Lead, I had realized real, tangible benefits over-and-above what was even promised to our class,” said Jamila Watson, Customer Innovation Research & Insights at FedEx Services, (WE Lead Class 14). “Our focus on goal planning for both personal and professional development at the onset proved integral for defining and shaping my upcoming year. I still actively refer to my strategy map and vision board.”
WE Lead is accepting applications for its 2021-2022 class through May 21, 2021. Apply here to further develop your personal leadership style and advance your career.
