From the Desk of Jill Meyer
We’ve been bold about it since COVID-19 hit our communities—the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber maintains its position to ensure the vibrancy and economic growth of the region despite our unfamiliar circumstances. As local and state governments assemble the necessary pieces to re-open commerce and other non-essential businesses, it is critically important to equip business leaders with pertinent information to realize optimal success. And so, yesterday, the RESTART Task Force issued a report that offers five key principles for a Responsible Return for policy makers, elected officials, and community leaders to consider as plans to reopen daily operations start to unfold and we restart the economy. The Principles of a Responsible Return document was drafted with leadership input from Dr. Richard Lofgren from UC Health, Michael Fisher, the CEO of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and Mike Venerable, the CEO of CincyTech, as well as business leaders in the Cincinnati region. See the entire report here.
