Grow talent through Work-Based Learning
The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber is actively seeking employer participants for Work-Based Learning experiences with Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS). These experiences, also known as micro-internships, provide opportunities for high school seniors who are interested in going to work directly after high school graduation.
This opportunity allows employers to customize a plan to provide 8-10 weeks of training to a potential employee and fulfill a key part of a student's learning.
The goal is to connect CPS seniors to the Cincinnati Region’s manufacturers, product development companies, engineering firms, IT organizations – and more.
Key Benefits of Work-Based Learning:
Interested in learning more? Please fill out this form by February 1st.
- CPS handles the recruiting process with interested students – saving employers time to focus on other open roles
- Students come to the office two days a week – allowing time to set aside specific projects and maintain high productivity of team members
- Employers pitch to interested students – allowing employers the opportunity to showcase their culture and values
- Employer of Record is brought on board to provide worker’s compensation and handle payroll for any minors, if needed
