From the Desk of Jill Meyer
Happy Fourth of July! I hope you were able to safely celebrate the holiday weekend with your friends and family. The traditional activities that come along with the excitement of summer holidays and other seasonal festivities undoubtably has changed as the pandemic has caused all of us to celebrate differently this year. We hope you’re finding your own way to be social with your community.
Last week Cincinnati City Council voted to require masks be worn indoors in public settings including retail businesses, City facilities, and on public transit. Learn more about the ordinance here. To help businesses maintain healthy work environments and serve more customers, we’re still offering RESTART Kits containing hand sanitizer, surface disinfectant and face coverings. Claim your FREE kit here.
With the increase of COVID-19 cases in Hamilton County, each of us must act in ways to keep ourselves and others safe by wearing a mask and practicing safe, social distancing. To amplify this message of safety, the Chamber has partnered with the CBC, CRBC, and the Health Collaborative to launch the Regional COVID Communications Center (RC3). The RC3 will work throughout the year to promote culturally competent messages of health and safety. Leading into the holiday weekend we introduced a public-facing mask campaign which is supported by the Governor of Ohio and P&G. Help us protect the region by sharing the important message of "MASKS ON” with your networks. Download the marketing materials here to help spread the message.
