Happy Father’s Day to the remarkable men leading, supporting, and giving their all to the special people in their lives and community. I hope you had an enjoyable weekend celebrating, connecting, and reflecting on the joyous moments in life.
Also this weekend, our community experienced noteworthy and significant activities—from Our Tables in OTR to the collaboration between ArtsWave, ArtWorks and the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati on the creation of a momentous BLACK LIVES MATTER! mural, and other Juneteenth celebrations.
As you get back to physical connections and trying to resume somewhat familiar habits, your Cincinnati Regional Chamber is just as committed as ever to ensuring your physical and psychological well-being. In collaboration with Humana, we invite you to join us on June 25, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. as Dr. William Shrank, Humana’s Chief Medical Officer, shares clinical insights to consider in your return to office planning and highlights how aspects of the healthcare system may evolve as part of our new normal. Register for the webinar here.
We also are excited to announce that the Cincinnati Chamber Foundation is partnering with the Duke Energy Fund to make relief grants available to minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses in the Cincinnati region. The Duke Fund has pledged $75,000 in relief funding for small businesses who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. More information can be found here.
And finally, we continue to innovate new ways to support businesses through the transitions that all of us are experiencing together. If you have a need or idea that drives economic prosperity for our region, tell us about it here.
