Your Cincinnati Chamber is stepping up in new ways to help our business community respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. In collaboration with the Cincinnati Regional Business Committee, we are launching the RESTART task force. This regional group of leaders will ensure there is a robust response focused on continuing and economic activity and helping our region recover and regain momentum post-pandemic.
Expect to hear from us starting today – we have set up a business response helpline and will be reaching out to our members to see how we can be helpful during this uncertain time. Do you need immediate assistance? Then call us at 513-579-3111 so we can connect you to relevant business resources.
Thank you to all of you who joined us for our online COVID-19 Business Briefings today and on Friday. We covered how our regional health systems are responding to the crisis as well as human resources policies and procedures. Don’t miss the next Business Briefing this Thursday at noon.
We will get through this together. The United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation set up the COVID-19 Regional Response Fund and gathered the generous support of bi3, Deaconess, Fifth Third, Kroger, P&G and Scripps to address food insecurity, housing and shelter, childcare, eldercare and medical response in light of COVID-19. Want to help? You can donate to the fund here.
Lastly, your Cincinnati Chamber appreciates Governor DeWine’s approach to keeping Ohioans safe and healthy, and supports the latest order from the Ohio Department of Health. Most importantly, we are grateful that the order was made with input from businesses throughout our region.
