Know Your Network | Member Spotlight: 4C for Children
4C for Children, has been a long-time Chamber Member and is currently enrolled in ChamberComp™, the Chamber’s Workers’ Compensation Program.
4C for Children supports everyone who cares for young kids, from parents to child-care providers, to ensure high-quality early education and care for all children. They are the only agency in 15 counties in Ohio that offers free child care referrals both online and in person and helps parents understand how to choose a quality option, provides the most accurate and up-to-date information about Ohio’s Step Up To Quality to childcare centers, preschools and family child care homes and provides the highest quality training and coaching for early childhood professionals.
During the pandemic, 4C for Children has been working alongside childcare providers to ensure programs remain open and continue to offer quality, safe environments so that families are able to maintain employment and children don't lose out on getting the tools they need to thrive. Childcare programs have overcome a lot of barriers during the pandemic and there still are many challenges facing them in the future.
Employers have seen first-hand over these past months the vital role childcare plays in supporting a strong workforce and the overall health of our economy. But what does the future of childcare look like and how will local businesses be impacted? Join 4C for Children President/CEO Vanessa Freytag on Thursday, November 12 at noon for a virtual briefing “ What Lies Ahead: Child Care and its Impact On the Local Workforce and Economy.”
Learn more about those challenges, the impact they will have on the local business community, how businesses can help mitigate some of the challenges and much more. You will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the event. To submit questions prior to the event, please email email@example.com. To register for the program, click here.
