In their 101st season, The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati (TCT) is the oldest professional theatre for young audiences in the country. TCT is currently one of the only performing arts organizations in town offering live, socially-distanced performances. They opened their production of “The Velveteen Rabbit” on Nov 12 which runs through Dec. 13.
Patrons may enjoy the magic of live theatre in a socially-distanced and safe manner, or from the comfort of their own homes through their new partnership with Broadway on Demand. They have multiple offerings available digitally including “The Velveteen Rabbit,” “Harriet Tubman: Straight Up Outta’ the Underground,” and “Jacqueline and the Beanstalk.” AND, some of their productions have a Pick-A-Path option available, where children are asked questions and able to make choices that change the outcome along the way for a truly interactive digital experience!
For their live productions, with only 44 seats available per performance allowing for appropriate social-distancing, you can purchase tickets or digital passes at www.thechildrenstheatre.com.
