From the desk of Jill Meyer
Last week, more than 800 business leaders came together to accelerate change at the 2019 Fifth Third Bank Diversity Leadership Symposium. The top diversity and inclusion event in the region brought two national speakers to the stage for a deep dive on unconscious bias and how to mitigate it, as well as four focus sessions. Thank you to Fifth Third Bank for the continued partnership and to all our sponsors for making it possible.
Today is your day to accelerate change. As you head to the polls, consider the impact Issue 22 could have on our region. An outdated and underfunded transportation system has kept too many people from participating in our growth for way too long. With Issue 22, we can begin to break barriers by connecting more people to jobs, education, and healthcare. On behalf of our entire community, we urge you to support it.
Speaking of change, we are excited to announce Danielle Wilson as our new Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Communications. Over the last couple of years, Danielle has led the creation of new talent initiatives to support the Chamber’s nearly 4,000 members. She is an agile, strategically focused self-starter who is passionate about our region and will, without any doubt, accelerate Cincinnati’s transformation into a Future City.
