Accelerator Breakthrough Goals

The Accelerator has a bold goal of doubling the annual aggregate sales of our portfolio firms to $2 Billion while creating an additional 3,500 jobs over the next five years.

To achieve this goal, the Minority Business Accelerator establishes relationships with the best regional, minority-owned companies, known as Portfolio Firms, and provides individually-tailored advisory support and coaching to help them acquire the things they need to excel: A strong business strategy, access to capital, and connections within corporate organizations. When we ensure that each firm is ready to take on new business and excel while growing, we introduce them to corporate leaders in our region known as Goal Setters.

The Accelerator acts as an extension of the Goal Setter’s Purchasing and Diversity teams and partners to understand their business needs and minority spending goals. We enable Goal Setters to diversify their supplier pipeline and fuel innovation while simultaneously improving our local community and economy.

The end result is businesses that thrive, innovation that multiplies, and communities that are vibrant.
